Yves Scherer
Working across sculpture, installation, painting, photography, and lenticular prints, Yves Scherer’s (b. 1987) practice examines how personal narratives, celebrity culture, mediated realities, and digital and virtual experiences shape identity and perception. Scherer frequently combines analog and digital techniques and materials to create immersive environments that merge intimate storytelling with broader cultural imagery.
Yves Scherer lives and works in New York. His work has been featured in exhibitions at the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) London; The Swiss Institute, New York; Kunsthalle Basel; Kunsthaus Grenchen, Grenchen; Isaak Fangel, Copenhagen and CHART Art Fair Tivoli Programme, Copenhagen, and is included in museum collections such as the Portland Museum of Art and the Farnsworth Art Museum. He has received awards including the Swiss Art Award and been featured on Forbes 30 Under 30 in the Art & Design category.
